Christmas Money Holder

Hi there lovelies,

I hope that you're enjoying the week so far!

For today's inspirational post I created a money holder, perfect for those "picky" relatives ;-)

The stamp that I used to create this money holder is from Some Odd Girl Stamps and is called Mini Elf Digi Stamp. I colored it with Copic Markers.

I cut the shaped envelope using a SVG file and my Silhouette Cameo. Patterned paper and tag are from Craft Smith. And the holiday trim is from Lawn Fawn.

Easy, right? LOL

Have a great day! ~xoxo~

Welcome to another inspirational post! This time I decorated a coffin perfect for any Halloween project that you may have...

The Creepy Coffin Template is from Some Odd Girl Stamps and you can download yours here. Did I mention it is "free"? ;-)

To decorate the coffin, I used patterned paper from Magnolia stamps, cheesecloth, bats diecuts, a stamp sentiment from Stamping Up, eyelets, foam squares, and distress inks.

As for Mini Vampire Digi Stamp, you can get yours here. I colored it entirely with Luminance pencils and mineral spirits. I also added Stickles as a finishing touch ;-)

These are the newest mini digi stamps from Some Odd Girl Stamps and you can get yours by clicking here.

I colored these with Luminance pencils and a black marker to define some areas...

For the background, I used Photoshop to add the word-stamped background...

And then distressed the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink pad.

Anyway, these were super fun and easy to make, and they perfectly complement any Halloween project/decor.

There's No OTTER Like You

Because "someone" (not me! LOL) wanted to give away a Love card...

Stamps are by MFT Stamps and I colored them with Distress Inks. I created and cut the word "Love" and the slider using my Silhouette Cameo (gotta love that machine!). Finally, I used foam dots to adhere the otters and make everything look 3D.

Then on the big day, it went home with this...

Sshhh.. don't tell him I posted this! LOL!

TFL!

Birthday Party Ideas

Hi everyone!

Here are a couple of birthday ideas that I'm sure will brighten up your party:

We all know that organizing a party can be stressful, so the simple everything is, the better. But at the same time we want to create something pretty and special for our guests.

A candy basket as a party favor is an excellent choice! Not only because you can fill it up with other things besides candy, but because you can adapt it according to your theme. You can use different papers and color combinations (peach and aqua colors look fantastic together!), or simply you can add flowers for a Primaveral look.

A magic wand is something that no girl can resist. And they are so quick and easy to make, that you'll end up making a bunch of these in no time at all. Instead of using stars and a ribbon, how about hearts and lots of strings for a more romantic feeling? ;)

No birthday would be complete without a birthday card! And Tombow Dual Brush Pens makes the task even easier! You can either use the blending pen (like I did in this card) or use water and a brush to blend the colors together, and if you don’t have a coordinating sentiment/stamp to go with your theme or simply because you feel like doing it by yourself, you can handwrite the sentiment using these markers too. I know… it is the coolest thing ever!! J

Finally, sequins are so “in” right now! But if you don’t like them, use rhinestones or glitter instead, or simple leave the card as is.

Now I’ll leave you to the video tutorial:

Supplies:

Tombow MONO Permanent Adhesive
Tombow MONO Multi Liquid Glue
Tombow Dual Brush Pens - Bright Palette
Patterned Paper by We R Memory Keepers
Pink Cardstock
White Cardstock
Paper Straw by Celebrate It!
Glitter by Doodlebug Design
Scallop, Circle, and Star Punches by Stampin Up
Paper Trimer
Balloons Stamp by Magnolia
Happy Birthday Sentiment Stamp by Stampin Up
Sequins
Seam Binding

Tutorial: Art Lettering Mini Journal

There's a big trend going on right now on art lettering and doodling.

And since I'm so crafty, you shouldn't be surprised that I'm already polishing my skills on this matter ;-)

In the mean time, I wanted to share with you a quick tutorial on how to create your own mini version of an art lettering journal.

Here's what you need to get started:

Supplies:

1) patterned paper and coordinating cardstock
2) chipboard (or sturdy cardstock)
3) graph paper (or white paper)
4) two eyelets and eyelet setter
5) bone folder and scoring board
6) paper trimmer
7) heart punch (or any other shape that you like)
8) Tombow Multi Liquid Glue
9) Tombow Dual Brush Pens (for your art lettering)

Procedure:

Step 1: Cut the piece of patterned paper and chipboard to 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". Also, cut several sheets of graph paper (as many as you like) to 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". (You can also use white paper instead.)

Step 2: With the help of a bone folder and a scoring board, make a fold at 1/4" on top (short side) of the patterned paper only.

Step 3: Make two marks on top of the fold that you just made, at 1" and 3 1/4".

Step 4: Align everything together... the patterned paper on top, the graph papers in the middle, and the chipboard at the bottom... and hold tightly.

Step 5: Using the eyelet setter, make a hole on the marks done on Step 3. Then, set the eyelets just like shown.

Step 6: Using coordinating cardstock and a heart punch, create a heart shape (again, you can use any shape that you like).

Step 7: Then add Tombow Multi Liquid Glue to the back of the heart shape and adhere to the front of your journal, like shown.

And you're done!

Now grab your favorite color of the Tombow Dual Brush Pens and start doodling on your journal.

Like I said, you can use white paper instead of graph paper and use it as a regular journal/notebook ;-)

I guess that's all for now. Thank you so much for stopping by! ~xoxo
