I hope that you're enjoying your week! I've been working a lot as usual but always making sure to set some time aside to work on my crafts ;-)
For today's post I'm sharing my most recent card for Some Odd Girl...
It features Leaf Rider Tobie Digi Stamp and you can get yours here.
I colored the stamp with my trustworthy Prismacolor Pencils. I also added Stickles to the wings for dimension ;-) The paper is by Heidi Swapp, and I created the circle card and the sentiment with my Silhouette Cameo. That machine is super handy! If you're thinking on getting one, I highly suggest that you do. Trust me... you won't regret it! (btw, this is a non-paid advertisement... lol!).
OK guys... off to work. Have a amazing week and thanks for stopping by! ~xoxo~
Today's inspirational post is sponsored by Some Odd Girl stamps ;-) I created a shaker card using the Under the Sea Mae stamp set. You can find this set by clicking here.
I colored the stamps with Copics and Prismacolor Pencils on Bristol Smooth Surface paper. The background paper is by Prima Marketing, and the sentiment is from Magnolia stamps.
I can't believe it is June already! It seems like it was yesterday when we welcomed the new year. Not complaining by the way. I love Summer! It is one of my favorite seasons. If you live close by the beach just like me, you'll find yourself enjoying from the sand, the ocean, and from beautiful sunsets more often. It is also a season to prepare for other things... like welcoming babies ;-)
Not mine if you were wondering :-D Someone close to me is having a baby, so I prepared this card for her...
I used Hang Out Ollie stamp by Some Odd Girl stamps and you can find it here. I colored the stamp with Copic markers and Prismacolor Pencils.
I created the shaped card using my Silhouette Cameo, and since she's having a baby boy, I kept it simple and used blue colors to match.
I hope that you're enjoying the Summer as well! See ya' next time!
As promised here's the *birthday* card I was telling you about on my last post...
The stamp that I used is called "Fairy Magic" and it's from Some Odd Girl Stamps. I colored it with Copics, Luminance Pencils, and my most trusted Prismacolor Pencils ;-)
I also added Stickles to her wings because I just love glitter :-D
Today I'd like to share with you an inspirational post for Saturated Canary stamps.
This time I created a Bible Journaling page in which I'm featuring this gorgeous stamp called "Breathe".
I printed the image on vellum paper and then colored it with Prismacolor Pencils, did a fussy cut around the image, and adhered it to my Bible page using a spray adhesive. To color the background, I used Dylusions Paint in pink, blue, and white.
And here's the verse that I extracted from the Bible... it's Psalms 16:8.
And this time I created a double-spread page on my Midori Travelers Notebook featuring the lovely Reflection stamp. If interested, you can find the stamp here.
I colored it with Prismacolor Pencils (no blending solution was used!). Isn't she pretty? ;)
And in case that you were wondering about the background, I used different pieces of patterned paper, Gelatos, white acrylic paint, stencils, and a black pen.
As for the chipboard stickers, they are by Pink Paislee.
Well, that's all for now. I hope that you liked it and thanks for stopping by! ~xoxo~
As you may have noticed, I recently fell in love with Bible Journaling.
I think it's an amazing outlet... not only because I get to share my passion for art, but also because it makes me reflect on what God has to say to me!
So why not continue to extend this passion to other outlets like art journaling.
Since the beginning of Advent, I began working on my Advent Art Journal and even though it's only a couple of pages that I have accomplished so far, it keeps me motivated to continue creating.
For these pages I used Winter Tammistamp by Saturated Canary. I colored her with Prismacolor Pencils on Bristol Vellum Surface paper, did a *fussy* cut, and adhered her to my page.
The little prayer is my own handwriting and I took it from this little devotional magazine that I'm currently reading: "The Word Among Us". Anyway, for it I used Prismacolor Premier Assorted Markers. They are excellent for handwriting, acid free, and don't bleed! ;-)
And finally, for the background I used Dylusions Paints by Ranger, Inc.
Soon I'll be starting another *faith* related project, that I hope inspires to start your own too! So stay tuned to my blog :-)
And it is one of the newest Christmas stamps by Saturated Canary. You can find it here!
It was colored with Prismacolor Pencils and mineral spirits.
This other stamp is called The King and you can find it here! To color this image I used Prismacolor Pencils only. As you can see, both techniques give different results. It all depends on your mood and on what you're trying to achieve ;)
All papers used here are by Maja Design. I distressed all borders with Walnut Stain and did some machine stitching too. Heart diecuts are by Magnolia and the wreath diecut is by Memory Box. The wooden phrase and poinsettia were a gift by my dear friend Jay Rosa.
But whatever you call it, it is a way to express art while at the same time you're getting closer to God.
No matter if it's by doodling on your bible, or stamping and coloring, or a little of mixed media...
It is fun and it definitely makes you reflect on the scriptures.
Now about today's post, I chose "Ephesians 6:10-11" to inspire my journaling...
THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD
Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
There are is so much evil and temptations out there, but if you put your heart and faith in God, you will be able to conquer it all!
Here are the pages that I created...
I'm featuring the lovely *Ephesians 6* stamp by Saturated Canary. All coloring supplies are mentioned in the video ;-)
And here's a little tutorial that I put together with a quick trick to help you simplify your journaling and/or any other stamping technique. Also in the video, I do a quick flip-thru through my bible and show you a couple of pages that I've done so far :-)
Well, I hope that you liked it and *thanks* for stopping by!! ~xoxo
Here's my latest card for Saturated Canary DT featuring this cute stamp called *Whale Friends*...
Isn't it adorable?
I colored it with Prismacolor Pencils only (no blending solution used here!) and I did a *fussy cutting* to it before adding it to the background, which is a beautiful patterned paper made by Prima Marketing, Inc.
To embellish it I used pearls, flowers, and rhinestones. Yeah, I'm trying to keep it simple! LOL!!
Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you next time!
This time I made a shaped card using this cute stamp called "Magic". It is a special stamp and right now it is not available thru the store. Hopefully Krista from Saturated Canary will post an update on it soon ;-)
For coloring I used the "No-Lines" technique and I colored it with Prismacolor Pencils. To shape the card I used a die template by Spellbinders and my Big Shot. Papers are by Basic Grey and I distressed the edges with Distress Inks in Walnut Stain. Heart diecut and sentiment is by Magnolia, and the rest is paper flowers, cheese cloth, trims and sheer ribbon.
And this time it is about how I color *dark skin* using Prismacolor Pencils.
I know that many of you struggle with this kind of color combination, so I hope that you find it useful :)
BTW, the creator of this image... Hannah Lynn Art & Design... is offering a 5% discount on your total order, when you use the code that appears in my video. Isn't it cool? So pay close attention to the video so you don't miss it! ;)
AND don't forget to check out the classes that I'm offering. If you love to color images, these classes are for you!!

Here's an art journal page featuring the lovely *Spring stamp* by Saturated Canary.
I thought she was perfect to color in Sepia with a "splash" of color, because well... I've been feeling like this lately... living in the shadows and waiting for some "color" to appear and brighten my day. I know that there will be better days... I just need to be patient and pray!
Anyway, let's continue with this post ;) I used mixed media paper to add texture, and she was colored with Prismacolor Pencils in French Grey 10%, 20%, 30%, 50%, 70%, 90% & Black. For the flowers I used Scarlett Red, Scarlett Lake, Pale Sage, Apple Green & Olive Green.
The card/sentiment is by Teresa Collins, and the heart is a die that I cut using cork.
I hope that you like it and thanks for stopping by!! ~xoxo~
