Artista Invitada "Latina Crafter"

Simplemente me encantaron!!!

Receta:
  • Sellos - Estoy Esperando de Latina Crafter
  • Tintas - StazOn Jet Black, Distress Inks

A Mother's Day Card

Hi there lovelies!

Here's my latest card using *Ballerina* Tilda from the latest Magnolia stamps collection...

Since tomorrow we celebrate Mother's Day, I thought that this stamp would look cute for a gift. I colored her with Distress Inks, paper pieced her crown with 3D dots and added Stickles to make certain areas to *pop-out* from the card.

The sentiment is computer generated and it reads *Happy Mother's Day!*

Now this card is for a special friend of mine ;-) I hope that she likes it!!

I'll be back soon with another creation. Thanks for stopping by!!

Recipe:
  • Stamp - Ballerina Tilda
  • Inks - StazOn Baby Blue, Distress Inks, Acrylic Paint
  • Patterned Paper - Melissa Frances
  • Card Template - QuicKutz
  • Oval Template - Nestabilities
  • Heart Tag - Magnolia DooHickey
  • Other - Doily, Cheese Cloth, Flowers, Trims, Sheer Ribbon, Mini Spool, Rhynestones, Machine Stitching

Tutorial: Making a Shaped Easel Card

Hi there lovelies,

Long time no see! As many as you know, I was working extra hours in my full-time job and I hardly had time to even breath. But it's all over now and I'm back to normal and hopefully with more free time to create ;-)

Anyway, this week is my turn in Saturated Canary You Tube Channel and for this I prepared *hopefully* a nice and easy tutorial on how to create a *shaped easel card*.

There are many newbies out there that still struggle with certain techniques, so I made this one with all of you beginners in mind ;-)

But before I lead you to my video, here are a couple of pics of the finished project:

All supplies and instructions can be found in the video too!

Also *please note*: if you leave me a comment or email regarding a question that you may have, please leave a valid email address so that I can properly reply to you! I get many emails with questions, but then when I try to reply back, I get the "non-reply" email addy, so obviously I can't answer you back. So please when you contact me, make sure that you do leave a valid email address ;-)

OK now click -->here<-- to watch the video.

Have a good day!!
xoxo

Tutorial: Making a Triangle Bag

Hi there lovelies,

Today I had the honor to be *Guest* at Saturated Canary Challenge Blog... yesssss!!!!

And since Easter is around the corner, I decided to create a triangle bag with an Easter theme...

The digi image is named *Set Free* and is, of course, from the newest Easter collection by Saturated Canary.

And guess what? I also created a video tutorial on how to make this cutie ;-)  You can check it out at the end of this post.

For the first time I created a full length video with me speaking in English, so please don't laugh! LOL! Actually, I do hope that you can understand what I say. I had fun making it and I didn't even get nervous, which is a huge improvement for me :-D

Well I guess that's all for now. Let me know what you think ok? ;-)

Thanks for stopping by!!

Making a Paper Basket Tutorial - Easter Edition

Hi there lovelies,

My newest video tutorial for Saturated Canary is up!!

This time I show you how to create a cute little basket using a "threading" technique that I'm sure you're going to love. Plus the new Easter Collection by Saturated Canary is stinking cute... you don't want to miss it out either!! You can see them for yourself -->here<--.

And here are a couple of pics of my finished project...

A side view so you can appreciate the tiny details better, like the distressing, the trim and embellishments ;-)

And the back...

I also prepared a matching card using the same image, but bigger ;-)

I colored this image with Copics and I used chalk and acrylic paint for the washed out background. The tag is from Magnolia and the border is Memory Box. Papers are from My Mind's Eye, flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the sentiment is computer generated.

Now here's the link to my video --> Easter Paper Basket Tutorial.

Thanks for stopping by!!
