Coloring in B&W with Hints of Sepia

Hello lovelies!

Here's another inspirational post for Saturated Canary...

A simple card with a stamped image colored in b&w/sepia tones.

All papers used here are Melissa Frances and the rest are embellishments that I found in my stash (cheese cloth, trims, seam binding, paper flowers, rhinestones). The paper wreath is a die by Memory Box and I ran a machine stitching and then did some distressing to the edges to add some depth.

This time I am featuring the lovely *Sweet Oklahoma* stamp, which I colored with Prismacolor Pencils.

And here's a little disclaimer about it so to avoid any confusion: the image was meant to be in sepia AND in person it does look brownish, but in the video and in the pics it looks more black and white. This is the first time that I color a sepia/b&w image using Prismacolors and honestly, I wasn't following any guides or color scheme. Still I like how it turned out and I will definitely be doing this again.

And below you will find a *speed-coloring* video on how I colored this image, so I hope that you find it useful.

Spring Is Here!!

Hi there lovelies!

It is my turn for an *inspirational* post for Saturated Canary stamps.

And for it I decided to create a card... a square one... or a *back-to-basics* card as I like to call it ;-)

The featured stamp is *Augie the Piglet* by Saturated Canary, and I colored it with Prismacolor Pencils. I also added some *sparkle* with Stickles ;-)

Papers are Vintage Market by Bazzil Papers, the two pink roses and the cream rose are handmade, and the rest of the flowers are generic. I also added two white wreaths by Memory Box, trims, pearls, cheese cloth, and did some distressing to the borders with Walnut Stain.

Happy Spring!! ~xoxo~

Aquarius Tilda

Hey there lovelies!

Here's my recent Magnolia card...

Aquarius Tilda

She was colored with Prismacolor Pencils and watercolors for a *washed-out* effect. I also added Stickles to the water to make it *stand-out* ;-)

Papers are Maya Road, doily by Spellbinders, tags by Magnolia, wreath by Memory Box, flowers are Prima, Magnolia, Wild Orchid Crafts, and the rest is cheese cloth, trims, seam binding, and pearls.

Thanks for stopping by! ~xoxo~

Gardenia Card

Do you believe in *love at first sight*?

Because that's what I felt when I saw these stamps for the very first time!

And I knew that I simply had to have them (yes, I bought a couple of these cuties!) even if it was to fulfill my coloring addiction :-D

This one is called *Woman with Gardenia and Pearls* by Aurora Wings and it was colored entirely with Prismacolor Pencils. I also added Liquid Pearls to all the pearls in the image.

Papers are Prima Marketing, flowers are generic and handmade, and the rest are trims, purple tulle, doily, and pearls.

Can't wait to color my next one! It was tons of fun :-D
